Job summary

Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager I to lead the Moreno Valley Mall location. This onsite role oversees daily library operations, supports staff, and ensures exceptional patron service within the library’s standards and strategic initiatives.

The position requires a BA/BS, with MLIS preferred, and at least three years of supervisory and management experience in public library settings. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferably in a library or related public service environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in library management and/or administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Mall location and ensure high-quality library services.
• Lead, supervise, and support staff, coordinate schedules, coach, and monitor performance.
• Facilitate regular staff meetings to promote communication and alignment with priorities.
• Coordinate programming and outreach activities for Moreno Valley community.
