Job summary

Fargo Public Schools is seeking a Library Media Assistant to provide library and technical support for instructional resources at the building level. You will manage circulating materials, shelve items, assist students and staff, and help maintain an organized library environment.

Additionally, you will deliver AV and peripheral device support, operate district-approved software, coordinate with the Library Media Specialist, and participate in required trainings and emergency plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two year technical degree or related experience.
• Experience with computers and AV devices is preferred.
• Library experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with library materials check-in/out using circulation software.
• Shelve materials and manage inventory.
• Provide AV and IT support to staff and students.
• Collaborate with Library Media Specialist on displays and information literacy.
• Participate in district emergency plans and mandatory trainings.

Education
