Brunswick County is seeking a Library Assistant to join the Harper Branch Library team in Southport. You will help children and caregivers choose resources and run Storytime programs while supporting patrons at the circulation desk and with digital resources.

The role requires an Associate's degree (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license for occasional branch travel. Evening and weekend hours are required, with some shifts at other library locations as needed.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License required.
• Familiarity with current authors, bestselling titles, and classics preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist children and caregivers in selecting resources and promote reading and library programs.
• Check materials in and out, handle fines, reserves, and telephone inquiries; assist patrons at the circulation desk.
