Job summary

Cobb County Government’s Powder Springs Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant II to deliver excellent customer service at the circulation and reference desks. You will assist patrons with accounts, computers, digital resources, and readers' advisory, and help with shelving materials.

The role supports Youth Services with programs, crafts, displays, and outreach, while handling check-ins/outs using the automated system and helping with general library operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; plus one year of customer service or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at circulation and reference desks; assist patrons with accounts and library resources.
• Assist with shelving materials and keeping shelves organized.
• Support Youth Services Librarian with youth programs, crafts, displays and outreach.
