Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Six months of customer service experience (volunteer or paid).

Responsibilities

• Pull materials from the Automated Handling bins, sort, and shelve them in order.
• Check out and check in library materials to and from patrons.
• Assist public with automated handling and self-check machines.
• Register library patrons for library cards.
• Maintain library order, straighten shelves, refilling displays, and assisting with equipment.
• Assist in diversity and inclusiveness efforts at the Anchorage Public Library.
• Provide excellent customer service and be an active team member.
