Job summary

Fairweather, LLC is seeking a Library Assistant II at the Central Library to help patrons, check out materials, and support daily operations in a busy public library. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and availability for day, evening, and weekend hours, including Sundays.

Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required; teamwork and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting customers face to face.

Responsibilities

• Check-out and renew materials for patrons.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and answering questions.
• Assist in collection management and shelving tasks.
• Process holds and RFID-related checks.
• Assist with library card applications and study room scheduling.
• Learn and stay current on library software and e-resources.
