Job description

Position: Library Assistant - Access Services

The University of New Mexico College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences (ULLS) is seeking motivated student employees for a dynamic customer service environment. Library Assistants are the primary point of contact for patrons and handle daily library operations.

Under supervision, Library Assistants will:

  1. Assist patrons with library materials and resources.
  2. Help patrons utilize resources such as course reserves, study rooms, computers, and printing.
  3. Open and close library facilities, ensuring safety and comfort.
  4. Shelve materials and maintain collection organization.
  5. Participate in special projects as assigned.
