The Access Services Department at the University of New Mexico Libraries seeks motivated student employees for Library Assistant 2 - Access Services. These roles involve front-facing service, shelving, and helping patrons access library resources.
Work may be in Centennial Science & Engineering Library, Fine Arts & Design Library, or Zimmerman Library, under supervision. Student employees must be enrolled at UNM for at least 6 credits and hold a Work-Study award.

The Access Services Department in the University of New Mexico College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences (CULLS) seeks motivated and highly-engaged student employees interested in a challenging and dynamic customer service work environment. Library Assistants are the first point of contact most patrons have with the University Libraries system and take care of most of the day-to-day duties associated with library operations. Student positions may be based in Centennial Science & Engineering Library, the Fine Arts & Design Library, or Zimmerman Library.
Under direct supervision, Library Assistants work with University Libraries staff and student employees in a team environment to:

CULLS student employees are employed on a term basis for the current academic year. Student employees may be asked to work nights and/or weekends. Library student employees must be able to shelve books and perform other physical activities as required.
