Job summary

UW-La Crosse's Murphy Library seeks an Access Services and Technology Supervisor to manage circulation, reserves, and interlibrary loan, while overseeing staff and adherence to library policies. This role also supports on-campus and system-wide initiatives and requires strong interpersonal skills.

The position collaborates with ITS, installs and maintains public computing, analyzes usage data, and ensures equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of relevant library experience.
• Knowledge of Alma, ILLiad, and library technology.
• Strong communication, supervision, and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Access Services staff and unit operations.
• Oversee opening/closing, scheduling, and security.
• Coordinate resource sharing and interlibrary loan activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot public and staff computer systems.
