Job summary

Georgia Tech Library is seeking a library customer support professional to assist patrons in person and electronically, including bibliographic instruction, referrals, and access to shared resources. The role involves user account management and helping with various technologies for a diverse patron base.

You will regularly interact with faculty, students, staff, and external communities, providing access, reference, and multimedia support and mentoring as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting library patrons in person and online.
• Familiarity with library content access and shared resources.
• Ability to guide users through technologies and accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with myriad library services, bibliographic instruction and referrals, access to content and shared resources, user account management, and assist with various technologies.
• Provide access and reference services support to library patrons, including fulfillment, reference, and multimedia.
• Interact regularly with faculty, students, staff, unit management, external communities, and all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons.
• Advise and counsel: faculty, students, unit staff; all internal and external Georgia Tech Library patrons.
