Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Liaison Non Nurse to drive business development and increase census, while ensuring compliance with all laws and Life Care standards. The role requires travel, excellent communication, a healthcare administration degree, and prior experience in a post-acute setting.

The position is full-time and on-site across facilities in Indiana. You will build relationships with hospitals and providers, support pre-admission processes, and help position the facility

Position Summary

The Liaison Non Nurse engages in business development functions with purposes of increasing census and maximizing visibility of the facility as the preferred post acute provider in the community in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health care administration, communications, marketing, or related field
• Prior experience in clinical systems OR Must have prior experience in a post acute setting

• Functional knowledge in field of practice
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care’s Code of Conductand completes mandatory Code of Conductand other appropriate compliance training
