Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Liability Claims Representative to oversee complex and litigated liability and property claims. You will investigate coverage, liability, and damages, negotiate with contractors, adjusters, and attorneys, and maintain reserves and payments throughout the life of the claim.

The role reports to Daniel Hartmann and offers a compensation range of $80,000–$100,000 per year. Expect a demanding workload with strict deadlines and opportunities to lead large loss

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex and litigated liability and property claims.
• Ability to interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Strong negotiation and communication with clients, attorneys, and adjusters.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and settle large exposure liability and property claims.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.”
• Interpret policy contracts and coverage accurately to determine liability.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide strategy to counsel to protect client’s money and claims.
