Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Claims Team Lead to supervise multiple examiner teams and drive effective claims adjudication for a key client base in the East Coast region. The role blends leadership with expert technical oversight in a hybrid Marlton, NJ setting.

You will mentor staff, optimize workflows, monitor workloads, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring adherence to service standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Six years of claims experience with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Jurisdiction knowledge focused on East Coast, especially NJ and PA.
• Licensing not required (per client).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for liability claims.
• Identifies trends and advises management on issues and action plans.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Compiles reviews and analyzes management reports; takes appropriate action.
• Performs quality reviews on claims in accordance with audit and quality standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues; implements final disposition of the appeal.
• Maintains contact with the client on claims and promotes professional relationships.
