Job summary

Claims Resolution Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Liablity Claims Manager in New Jersey to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Liability Claims Unit. You will oversee investigations, reserving, settlements, and litigation management to ensure compliant, timely resolutions.

The role requires leadership of claims staff, development of performance standards, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to laws and client standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience handling General Liability, Professional Liability, and Property Claims.
• Leadership experience with team development and achievement of business objectives.
• Extensive knowledge of claims laws, regulations, litigation management, coverage analysis, reserving practices, and jurisdictional issues.
• Strong understanding of New Jersey Title 59 and public entity liability claim handling requirements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with claims management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality management and timely resolution of liability and property claims.
• Manage investigations, reserving, settlement strategies, litigation management, and disposition activities.
• Review and approve reserve and settlement requests exceeding subordinate authority.
• Ensure compliance with legal statutes, regulatory requirements, policy provisions, and guidelines.
• Lead QA programs and claim audits to ensure standards.
• Direct supervision of claims supervisors and staff; hire, onboard, train, and coach.
• Develop budgets and performance metrics; drive process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on high-exposure and litigated claims.
