AssuranceAmerica in Atlanta, GA seeks a Liability Adjuster II to manage a caseload of complex auto liability and coverage claims, conducting thorough investigations, evaluating exposure, and negotiating settlements. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to develop additional claims-handling skills; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience handling auto claims.
• Minimum of two years of experience handling complex liability and coverage issues and unrepresented bodily injury cases.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of coverage, liability, and damages across auto claims.
• Accurately assess exposure and evaluate injury claims based on facts and damages.
• Negotiate timely settlements and obtain necessary documentation for proper claim resolution.
• Manage low-complexity, attorney-represented injury claims with sound judgement and attention to detail.
• Maintain proper reserves and adhere to company reserving philosophy on pending claims.
• Meet and maintain file handling goals and diary review statuses.
• Utilize underwriting and policy systems as needed.
• Attend seminars and build skills to improve investigations and evaluations.

This role requires the execution of thorough investigations to gather all necessary facts, along with a strong understanding of policy language to ensure accurate and timely coverage and liability determinations.
