Job summary

The Gender & Sexuality Therapy Center (G&STC) is a group private practice in Midtown, NY, offering psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with remote options within NY state. We are seeking fee-for-service psychotherapists, with a strong preference for full-time (25 sessions/week).

G&STC specializes in gender, sexuality, and relationships, and provides supervision, workshops, consultation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York.
• Resides in NY or NJ and commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC.
• Experience with CBT, IFS, mindfulness, trauma-informed, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• At least 1 year of psychotherapy experience including individual, couples, and family therapy.
• Experience serving LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous clients.

Responsibilities

• Phone consultations with clients.
• Maintain case notes and documentation as per policies.
• Provide group therapy as needed.
• Participate in weekly supervision and group clinical supervision.
• Assist in creating and implementing workshops, trainings, and seminars.
