The Expansive Group (TEG) is seeking compassionate mental health professionals to join our growing team of therapists and coaches. If you are a thoughtful clinician who is motivated by serving the queer and trans community and destigmatizing sex education, we'd love to work with you!

Qualifications

  • Pre-licensed or graduating from a MA counseling or social work program within the next 6 months.
  • Experience with the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Interest in sex & relationship therapy.
  • Licensed or seeking licensure in Illinois or New York.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 20 sessions/week (therapy and/or coaching)
  • Timely completion of clinical documentation
  • Attendance of all mandatory staff, group consultation, and supervision meetings
  • Self-promotion of professional services, with support from TEG marketing
  • Availability on select evenings and/or weekends

Who We Are

The Expansive Group (TEG) is home to a team of creative, diverse and passionate mental health professionals and educators. In addition to providing psychotherapy and coaching services to clients worldwide and free education on social media (@queersextherapy, @theexpansivegroup), our team also creates and facilitates workshops for other therapy practices, healthcare professionals, companies, and organizations. We’re an intentional, creative, and growing team of therapists, coaches, and educators who are deeply invested in the health and well-being of queer and trans people.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting wage $40-50/session, depending on experience
