Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking an experienced Research Analyst for its Non-Investment Grade Credit platform. The role focuses on depth research in the leveraged credit market and supports a large team responsible for high yield and leveraged loan assets.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of research experience, strong written and verbal communication, solid accounting and financial modeling skills, and CFA or MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant research experience (sell-side and/or buy-side).
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence portfolio outcomes.
• Independent evaluation of investment ideas within covered industries.
• Strong accounting and financial modeling experience; CFA or MBA preferred.
• Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within six months of joining.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and implement investment ideas across coverage sectors.
• Evaluate and integrate industry trends into actionable investment recommendations.
• Maintain high quality financial modeling, credit/industry analysis, and written credit reports for PMs.
• Establish and maintain management/industry relationships within covered industries.
