Job summary

Neuberger Berman seeks a Senior Credit Research Analyst to join the Global Investment Grade Credit Research team in Chicago. You will join a 15-strong group spanning the US and EMEA, collaborating with Traders and Portfolio Managers who oversee the $70+ billion platform.

You will independently research credit fundamentals, analyze financial statements and market dynamics, and generate actionable recommendations across sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years corporate credit research experience.
• Formal credit training and/or exposure to fixed income markets preferred.
• Completion or progress toward CFA preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and data tools.
• Ability to build relationships with sell-side analysts and rating agencies.

Responsibilities

• Independently research credit fundamentals and evaluate opportunities across sectors.
• Analyze financial statements, business risk, market technicals, and relative value.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and Portfolio Managers for buy/sell/hold recommendations.
• Perform investment strategy analysis for multiple industrial sectors.
• Develop industry frameworks and credit reviews for presentations to PMs.
• Coordinate with Research and Portfolio Management on macro factors and market dynamics.
