Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Research Analyst for our Non-Investment Grade Credit platform in Chicago. You will join a large team of Analysts, Traders and PMs responsible for high yield and leveraged loans, delivering actionable research and credit reports.

Requirements include 1–2 years of research experience, strong quantitative/qualitative skills, solid financial modeling, and CFA or MBA preferred. Series 7 & 66 within six months and work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant research experience (sell-side and/or buy-side).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence portfolio outcomes.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills to evaluate data and craft investment ideas.
• Strong accounting and financial modeling experience; CFA or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and implement investment ideas across coverage sectors
• Evaluate and integrate industry trends into actionable investment recommendations
• Maintain high quality work product with financial modeling, credit/industry trend analysis, and written credit reports to Portfolio Managers
• Establish and maintain management/industry relationships within covered industries
