Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group in New York seeks a Leverage Trading Analyst to join the ETF Portfolio Management team. You will help manage leveraged ETF trades, monitor risk, and ensure fund objectives are met across equities, options, and swaps.

Strong knowledge of derivatives, Bloomberg, and institutional trading platforms is required. You will collaborate with Prime Brokers and Operations to ensure best execution and accurate settlement, while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in trading equities, options, and fixed income with emphasis on options.
• Institutional/RIA trading experience.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and swaps.
• Perform day-to-day operations in trade allocation, position settlement, and reconciliation.
• Use Bloomberg or other trading platforms for execution.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers to achieve best execution.
• Monitor market trends and trading strategies to improve fund performance.
• Ensure adherence to fund objectives and strive for superior returns.
• Utilize MS Excel and Office tools for analysis and reporting.
• Support Portfolio Management and Operations teams with process improvements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.
