Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group in New York is seeking a Leverage Trading Associate to manage and execute trades across equities, options, and swaps within leveraged ETFs. You will work on daily trading and settlement tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of equities and derivatives, experience with Bloomberg or similar platforms, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with prime brokers, market makers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or quantitative field.
• 1-3 years in trading equities, options, and fixed income with emphasis on options.
• Institutional/RIA trading experience.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and swaps.
• Handle day-to-day trading team duties including trade allocation and settlement.
• Utilize Bloomberg or other institutional platforms for trade execution.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers for best execution and fund efficiency.
• Stay updated with market trends, economic developments, and trading strategies.
• Ensure performance aligns with fund objectives and deliver competitive returns.
• Maintain accurate records and reconcile trading activity.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
