Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a part-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the expanding NICU in Wilmington, Delaware. The role supports a Level IV NICU with a growing bed count and rotating shifts, including holidays.

Qualified candidates will hold an active NNP or PA-C license with neonatal experience and relevant certifications (BLS/NRP). The position offers comprehensive benefits and professional development support in a leading pediatric health system.

Formación

• Master’s degree required (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with active licenses in relevant states.
• BNL/NRP and BLS certifications preferred or required.
• Experience in neonatal intensive care settings is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Manage neonatal ICU patients under neonatology supervision.
• Assist in delivery room distress interventions for newborns.
• Perform newborn examinations and gestational age assessments.
• Conduct family interviews and document history.
• Collaborate with neonatologists on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order labs and imaging as indicated.
• Perform procedures needed for neonatal care.
• Participate in daily NICU rounds.
• Rotating shifts including holidays.
