The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System Medical Center is seeking Experienced/New to Specialty Registered Nurse II/III MC/CHC for the NICU. This 32-bed Level III NICU delivers high-touch care to babies from 23 weeks gestational age and up, with 24/7 neonatology coverage and a collaborative care model.

Minimum qualifications include California RN licensure, BLS, and NRP Advanced. Schedule is 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Education to obtain RN license in California; bachelor's degree may be required for some positions.
• Experience: 1 year full-time RN in acute care hospital/clinic/healthcare agency; interim permit may be credited.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP Advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, organize nursing care for assigned patients per physician instructions.
• Assist physicians with treatments, exams, diagnostics and procedures.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications; document and report changes.
• Counsel patients and families on medical issues and care plans.
• Prepare and maintain records; educate patients as directed by physicians.
