Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital SCA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU night shift in Riverside, California. The role focuses on specialized care for critically ill newborns in a 21-bed unit, with a 60-person nursing team supporting high-quality outcomes.

You will manage varied infant caseloads, perform critical procedures, document in Meditech and CPN EMR, and collaborate across NICU and postpartum areas as needed. This 13-week assignment offers a guaranteed 36-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience.
• Ability to care for infants transitioning from Level I to Level III.
• Current California RN License.
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient ratios 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 with individualized infant care.
• Perform critical procedures including line placement and intubations.
• Document accurately in Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Collaborate with NICU team and float to Postpartum as needed.
