The County of Riverside’s Riverside University Health System is recruiting for a Registered Nurse III - MC/CHC to work in Medical/Surgical Unit 4100 on a full-time basis. The role involves professional nursing duties, coordinating care, and supporting physicians within a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical unit, CA RN license, and BLS and NIHSS certifications. Schedule is 3/12 night shifts with alternating weekends.

Qualificações

• Active California RN license required to practice.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in a Medical/Surgical unit.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and provide nursing care to assigned patients per physician orders.
• Assist physicians with treatments, exams, and procedures.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications and document progress.
• Instruct patients and families regarding health care plans and follow-up.
• Provide orientation and training to new staff and students.
• Participate in quality assurance and nursing leadership activities.
• Coordinate patient care through hospitalization with care teams.
