Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring Level II PAUT Technicians willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover call-out, projects and turnarounds as needed.

Set up, calibrate, and perform Phased Array tests; interpret and document results while directing trainees and Level I personnel. Must be familiar with codes and standards controlling the method and hold SNT-TC1A-compliant PAUT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for PAUT.
• Level II certification with 1 year experience or Level II per SNT-TC1A on Phased Array or UTSW.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• TWIC and valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Mistras is now hiring Level II PAUT Technicians willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover call-out, projects and turnarounds as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique: Phased Array
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: PAUT
• Prior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; Phased Array, UTSW
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
