Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Level II to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems. This role follows NFPA 25 and related codes; duties require attention to safety, accuracy, and clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of water-based fire protection experience, NICET II certification preferred, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of water-based fire protection systems layout experience, including NFPA 13D/13R/13 layout and surveys.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Knowledge of Windows, Word, iOS, Android and Outlook; able to learn industry software.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 frequencies.
• Troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems and pumps.
• Document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and relay information for follow-up.
• Keep vehicle clean and stocked with parts and supplies.
• Assess sites for additional equipment and services.
