Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Level I to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 25 and applicable codes. This fast-paced role offers high visibility within the company and requires safety awareness.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, NICET I certification preferred, a state license, valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of technical experience with water-based fire protection systems, including CAD drawings and field surveys.
• Ability to perform basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Familiarity with Windows, Word, iOS, Android, Outlook; willingness to learn industry-specific devices and software.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 frequencies and instructions.
• Troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems incl. pumps and components.
• Document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate with colleagues for follow-up and quotes.
• Keep vehicle and tools organized and stocked for job readiness.
• Identify potential additional equipment or services for customers.
