Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Level I Medication Assistant to support the administration of medications to residents under physician orders and nursing supervision in our Missouri facility.

The role requires a licensed Level I Medication Assistant with state-approved training, strong communication, and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe medication practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Level I Medication Assistant with state-approved training and exams as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow the facility policies and procedures governing medication administration to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Help develop and implement procedures to determine where and why medication errors occur and prevent them.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Ensure documentation of drug receipt errors includes a written report with observer signature.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify the Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Director of Nursing Services of errors or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices and record orders in the resident's clinical record with dosage details.
