Qualifications

• Must have valid Missouri Level 1 Medication Aide certification.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months' long-term care experience preferred.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• English communication skills required; other languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs resident care safely and comfortably.
• Records all medications in the chart and computer system.
• Takes and records vital signs as required.
• Responds to resident call lights and monitors needs.
• Notifies licensed staff of pain or condition changes.
• Maintains safety and quality in care delivery.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
