Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Westphalia, MO is seeking a Level I Medication Assistant to help administer medications as ordered by physicians, under supervision. This full-time role centers on resident safety and accurate medication management.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a licensed Level I Medication Assistant with state-approved training. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support our residents and care team.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Licensed Level I Medication Assistant with state-approved training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in the administration of medications.
• Help develop and implement procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., as required.
• Ensure documentation of drug receipt error includes a written observer/witness report.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing Services of any errors or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices and record orders in the resident’s clinical record.
