Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Level One Painter in our Tulsa, OK facility. After training, you will apply water and solvent reducible epoxy primers on diverse substrates using HVLP equipment and ensure proper coating thickness and equipment maintenance.

You will be cross-trained in supporting tasks such as racking, turning, sanding, equipment maintenance, and paint mixing, while adhering to safety directives and PPE requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Excellent color vision, with or without correction.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use PPE and follow safety rules.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review work instructions for paint type, tolerance and thickness.
• Load, adjust and maintain HVLP coating equipment in remote variants.
• Apply organic finishes to a variety of substrates and part configurations.
• Maintain safety practices as directed and use PPE as required.
• Assist with Hazardous Waste handling and disposal procedures.
