Job summary

Hubbell is seeking a Paint Operator in Oklahoma to prepare surfaces and apply epoxy and urethane wet paints to achieve high-grade finishes on parts.

You will mask parts, adjust spray gun valves, operate spray equipment safely, inspect finished work, and maintain equipment. A High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year experience are preferred; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand long periods are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Able to perform basic arithmetic

• Knowledge of safety equipment usage

Responsibilities

• Apply masking tape or caps to protect uncoated parts
• Apply epoxy/urethane coatings to surfaces
• Adjust spray gun valves for width and pressure
• Operator spray equipment and apply coats
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and booth
• Suggest improvements to supervisors
• Follow lead person and supervisor instructions
• Work safely and efficiently and inspect own work
