Job Summary
Level 3 IT Print Service Technician responsible for setting up and installing new printers, copiers, scanners, and copier management software at commercial client businesses throughout the Southeast Texas area.
Eligibility
Applicants must be current residents of Texas or Louisiana; no other states or countries will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- The Level 3 IT Technician is the highest tier of technical support within the organization, handling complex and critical IT issues that cannot be resolved at Tier 1 or Tier 2.
- Implement design changes, fix bugs, or make infrastructure-level updates.
- Provide routine service and maintenance on printer equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair print equipment and provide excellent customer service and support.
- Manage schedules and customer emergencies.
- Communicate verbally with customers and deliver outstanding service.
- Apply analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in IT support.
Core Technical Experience
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on IT support experience.
- Proven track record of progressing through Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk roles.
- Experience leading system migrations, server deployments, or network overhauls.
Top Certifications
- CompTIA Advanced certifications such as Network+, Security+, or CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst).
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP for advanced networking.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent modern workplace credentials.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Specialized Knowledge
- Enterprise infrastructure: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup systems.
- Network engineering: routing protocols, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN setups.
- Virtualization: Hyper‑V, VMware, or cloud‑based server environments.
- Cybersecurity: vulnerability detection, patch application, and incident response.
Soft Skills
- Root‑cause analysis for complex, undocumented technical issues.
- Technical writing: documenting processes, creating training manuals, and mapping network topologies.
- Mentorship: coaching Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
