Job summary

Riverstone Communities is seeking two Level 2 Maintenance Technicians for our Moundsview and Roseville mobile home parks in Minnesota. You’ll perform plumbing, electrical work, and general property maintenance to keep our communities attractive and safe for residents.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of general labor experience including groundskeeping.
• 1–2 years of basic residential plumbing experience.
• Able to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn technology and operate a vehicle with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs such as faucets and toilets.
• Handle electrical tasks like lighting fixtures and outlets.
• Maintain curb appeal and groundskeeping across the community.
• Complete home cleanouts and finish work orders promptly.
• Read water meters and adhere to safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in training.

• Pay Rate: $21.00 -$23.50 per hour

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI’s, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, replacing outlets
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community and make sure it is up to Riverstone Communities’ standards which includes:
  • Picking up trash around the community
  • Groundskeeping including lawn mowing, planting flowers, weeding
• Complete clean outs of homes
• Finish work orders in an efficient and timely manner
• Read water meters for each home
• Complete day to day duties with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
• Take training classes online/virtually via a computer or tablet
• Other duties as qualified and trained to do so

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, property management maintenance
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Need to be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions
• Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license
• Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.
