Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a MACHINE TECHNICIAN LEV 2 for our East Longmeadow, MA facility to keep manufacturing equipment running smoothly during non-daytime hours. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of machines to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with production teams, maintain records, and follow safety guidelines on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Requires a high school diploma, vocational training, and CMMS knowledge, with experience in 24/7 manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and CMMS.
• Ability to work evenings and nights on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Experience with electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with CMMS.
• Previous experience in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Basic welding or fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex machine problems and perform repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and repair.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety guidelines during 2nd and 3rd shift operations.
