Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a Machine Operator I-III to operate and monitor manufacturing machines during 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up equipment, ensure product quality, perform routine maintenance, and document production details to support efficient output and safety on the factory floor.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work extended shifts while following written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manufacturing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or defects promptly to maintenance teams for resolution.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members.
• Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.
