Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 2 Field Technician to join their client team in Mishawaka, IN and provide end-user IT support. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with daily travel of 25-100+ miles.

Occasional on-call work on weekends is expected. The role involves triage, troubleshooting, documentation, and resolution of IT issues across devices such as PCs, printers, thin clients, servers and network gear.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of IT support work experience.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, OSX and Linux.
• A+ Certification highly desired.
• OEM Certifications (Dell / Lenovo).
• Apple / Mac experience.
• Printer, laptop and desktop hardware and software support.
• ServiceNow experience a plus.
• Strong time management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Field Technician to join their team in Mishawaka, IN and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and will travel 25-100+ miles daily. Must be able to work the occasional on-call on the weekend.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
• Document efforts, issues, resolutions, and close cases / tickets daily
• Insight into POS, PC, Printers, Thin Clients, Client, Servers, Network switch equipment
• Complete all assigned projects and tasks

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of IT support work experience
• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows OS, OSX, Linux)
• A+ Certification highly desired
• OEM Certifications (Dell / Lenovo Etc)
• Apple / Mac Experience
• Laptop / Desktop / Printer hardware and software support experience
• ServiceNow experience a plus
• Excellent time management and reporting skills

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $18.75 - $25.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
