Job summary

AVASO Federal Solutions is hiring a Level 2 Field Services Technician to perform in-warranty hardware repairs and end-user support. The role requires knowledge of operating systems, computer hardware, and networking, with travel within the assigned region to pick up parts and service clients.

The position is full-time in Lancaster/Elmwood/Harrisonburg Stafford areas, with hours 8:00am–6:00pm EST and possible after-hours for global time zones.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on IT support for PCs/laptops and telecom equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for daily parts travel.
• US citizenship required; ability to travel within a daily radius.
• Strong debugging, hardware/software troubleshooting, and communication.
• Dell hardware/servers experience a plus; ADP/AVASO familiarity is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, research, and troubleshoot OS issues across hardware and servers.
• Respond to alerts and end-user IT issues promptly and professionally.
• Log daily activities and update ticket status in internal systems.
• Repair and replace parts in desktops, laptops, VMs, servers, and backups.
• Pickup repair parts at local locations and return defective parts.
• Serve as primary contact with end-customers from dispatch to resolution.
