Job summary

GJB & Associates seeks a Level-2 Electronic Security Systems Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ESS across diverse customer sites in the INDOPACIFIC region. The role requires reading manuals, wiring, configuring servers and user interfaces, and providing guidance to Level-1 technicians.

Applicants should have at least two years in ESS, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs; willingness to travel up to 25%, and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one current certification in ESS platforms (Lenel OnGuard, Genetec Security Center, Software House C-Cure 9000, Axis, Avigilon, Bosch, or DSC).
• Minimum two years of ESS installation, operations, maintenance and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and route ESS cables through conduits and above ceilings.
• Set up cable trays, network racks, and patch panels.
• Read manuals/diagrams to understand ESS equipment.
• Perform installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ESS systems.
• Train Level-1 technicians on ESS techniques.
• Complete daily reports and assist with inventory as needed.
