HOLT Truck Centers in Tyler, TX is seeking a Level 2 Diesel Technician to advance preventive maintenance skills and perform basic mechanical repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role emphasizes developing diagnostic abilities and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience, be able to read manuals, and work with BDL safety standards while mentoring junior technicians. This is full-time, on-site work requiring safety awareness.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program
• At least two years of experience
• Ability to learn and model HOLT’s VBL Culture
• On-going Safety Training

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair moderately complex engine malfunctions with supervision
• Perform engine and related system repairs to factory specs
• Disassemble and reassemble components, determining parts required
• Provide quality control inspections including road testing
• Document service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returns
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure safety compliance
