Job summary

Strategic Connections INC is seeking a Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II in Raleigh, NC. The role performs installations and assists with commissioning and troubleshooting of AV systems, cabling, and related infrastructure.

The technician reads blueprints, tests cables, and coordinates with customers on-site to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality installations. This on-site position emphasizes craftsmanship and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cable testing equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
• Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct cable certification and testing.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues.
