Job summary

Strategic Connections in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II to perform installations independently and assist with system commissioning and troubleshooting.

You will install and terminate structured cabling, mount AV equipment, read blueprints, conduct cable testing, troubleshoot basic issues, coordinate with customers and other trades on-site, and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cable testing equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
• Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct cable certification and testing.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues.
