Job summary

Agilant Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Support Technician in Naperville, IL to install and deploy IT equipment, configure LAN hardware, and assist with moves and on-site service calls.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to travel to client sites in Chicagoland, and familiarity with Microsoft and Apple operating systems. CompTIA A+ certification and a client-facing mindset are highly valued.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Experience deploying IT equipment and imaging.
• Familiarity with Windows/Mac operating systems.
• Professional client-facing IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours during normal business hours (8:30am to 5:30pm).
• Travel to client sites in Chicagoland for service calls as needed.
• Learn new technologies and adapt to procedures as needed.
• Support IT deployments and basic configuration tasks.

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN hardware and software.
• Professional experience in a client-facing IT environment.

Minimum Requirements

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft application software-- Outlook, Teams, Word etc.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN hardware and software.
• Professional experience in a client-facing IT environment.

Additional Qualifications

• Other technical certifications (eg HPE, Microsoft, Network+).
• Experience with low-voltage cabling.
• Active Directory or InTune administration.
• Healthcare-specific IT applications (eg Epic).
• Assisting with project-based moves or installations.
• Experience with IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) processes.

Compensation

• $17-19/hr.
