Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's Ambulatory Services - Leukemia is seeking an Oncology Nurse Coordinator who will act as the primary clinical contact for patients and caregivers, coordinating care and advocating for patients throughout their healthcare journey.

The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse with strong care coordination, communication, and patient advocacy skills, capable of delivering exceptional patient experiences via in-person visits, phone, and portal contacts.

Qualifications

• RN license (required) with valid NY license or eligibility
• BLS certification required or eligible for certification
• Experience in oncology, medical-surgical, or critical care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical contact for patients and caregivers, coordinating multidisciplinary care and ensuring effective communication among providers.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the nursing process; educate patients to promote adherence to care plans.
