• Participate as a member of letter of credit project teams as required.
• Identify fraudulently presented items through ITF policies, procedures and controls.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; escalate risk issues as needed.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain internal control standards and address audit points and regulator recommendations.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Overview:Processes and supports Letter of Credit transactions in adherence to ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) guidelines to minimize risk to the Bank.Primary Responsibilities:Process amendments of Commercial and/or Performance/Financial Standby Letters of Credit for customers in a timely and accurate manner.Provide cross-training assistance for less experienced staff; provide management feedback on progress of cross-training efforts.Participate as a member of letter of credit project teams as required.Identify fraudulently presented items through use of International Trade Finance (ITF) policies, procedures and controls.Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
