• Verify that packaged products contain all necessary components for installation as per the shipping list.
• Open and interpret blueprints and job travelers on a computer.
• Clock in/out for job operations as necessary.
• Assist in improving shop processes and troubleshooting problems.
• Perform general maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.

Ensures product quality, accurate labeling, and packaging while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES*** Fabricate and assemble channel letters by caulking, seaming, rivet-nutting, and installing LEDs and wiring.* Apply trim caps to acrylic and polycarbonate faces.* Capture photos of completed products before packaging.* Ensure all electric signs are tagged with UL and electrical output labels.* Verify that packaged products contain all necessary components for installation as per the shipping list.* Inform supervisor or Plant Manager of any issues or concerns.* Ensure all signs are correctly labeled with the appropriate job number.* Open and interpret blueprints and job travelers on a computer.* Clock in/out for job operations as necessary.* Assist in improving shop processes and troubleshooting problems.* Perform general maintenance, including emptying trash and cleaning equipment.* Contribute to team projects and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.* Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.## Qualifications**TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS*** High School Diploma or GED.* Experience with hand tools and basic sign fabrication methods preferred.* Ability to read a tape measure and work independently.* Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.* Fluent in English**SKILLS / ABILITIES*** Ability to read a tape measure.* Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines, as well as demonstrated ability to work independently.* Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person.* Team focused but also accountable for individual performance.* Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic, positive attitude, and the highest level of integrity.* Maintain regular and timely attendance.**WORKING CONDITIONS:*** May involve some repetitive motions.* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.* May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts.* Due to the open environment of the shop, must be able to work in temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.* May be required to stand for long periods of time.The worker is subject to high levels of noise.
