Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Lessons Lead to ensure an exceptional experience for customers and students by selling lesson and rehearsal packages, assisting customers with questions, and providing tours of the Lessons facility.

The role requires strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage schedules and coach instructors, with opportunities to grow curriculum sales and lead a team in a dynamic music retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in musical instruction or admin/retail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Increase the student count within the lesson program by driving sales and promotions.
• Sell rehearsal space and lesson packages.
• Coordinate schedules between instructors and students/parents to ensure a positive experience.
• Guide instructors on schedules and curriculum delivery.
• Maintain and grow curriculum sales and ensure systems function properly.
