Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to own environmental test systems for our satellite program. You will validate fiber optic and RF components, integrate instruments into automated racks, and drive test automation and reliability improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in both domains, strong scripting ability, and a degree in engineering or CS.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#).
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 2+ years creating and executing test plans for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on testing of fiber optic and RF components or assemblies with related instrumentation.
• Integrate optical and RF instrumentation into automated environmental test racks and ensure measurement integrity.
• Develop automation strategies and troubleshoot test scripts, hardware setups, and measurement paths.
